Kind of a strange morning

This evening I am taking the first of several scuba diving lessons.  Some of my paddler friends go resort diving, and I want to join them.  I'm not sure how it will go.  I'm nervous about it. 

There is a great analogy brewing here about being underwater while overhead, technology from another planet and our own intelligent machines combat to be the primary threat to our existence.
